Our recommendation is to stop by Isa Bey Mosque in Selcuk town. It is the oldest active historical mosque in Selcuk town. Midday prayer is at 1.21 pm

The walk from House of Virgin Mary to Ephesus would take approx. 40 minutes. This is a downhill walk. The distance is 8 kilometers.

We do not recommend the travellers to use public transportation during eid. Due to holiday period they will be packed with people. You need to book them in advance. The prices go double on eid period. We recommend you to rent a car. We do not recommend public transport during eid. You would be dissapointed.

I recommend you to do your bookings now. But you can prebook trains tckets to Denizli. You need to buy them while you are here. They will operate but will be packed with people.

You can not use euro cash for the entrance fees. Only Turkish lira cash is accepted. In house of virgin Mary, credit cards are not accepted. But in all the other sites Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted.

Yes, pets are allowed in Ephesus. There is no restrictions for pets and also no charge. Kindly note that Ephesus has so many stray dogs and cats. Your pet could be distracted by them.

Same taxi can take you to both Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. They have taxi meters but they generally charge approximately 70-80 euros.
