Kirazli Village Breakfast Tour with Esquenazi Party
Today we had the pleasure being in service to Esquenazi Party from Panama. They booked a breakfast tour in Kirazli village and Ephesus. They were delighted with atmosphere and organic eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, jams, yoghurt... and Turkish Tea and Turkish Coffee. After breakfast we had a pleasant walk through the village of Kirazli. Saw the local people, had photos with them, visited a local cemetery. Afterwards we had scenic drive through villages and visited Temple of Artemis and Ephesus before hading back to the ship. We were very lucky with the weather. It was 23 degrees and very clear.

We arrived at noon in 100 degrees but our guide gave us a great tour in excellent English. We went to old Ephesus also plus a local village. It was so much nicer for 10 people on a smaller bus and we saw so much in a shorter time. Our cruise ship landed later which kept us from seeing Ephesus during the early morning. The price we paid was better than the ships by a lot

We were meet promptly and our guide was clearly experienced. We were led through the sites in the reverse order to the big tour groups to avoid the peak times/ crowds, and were able to complete the tour well within the time allocated. Our guide provided knowledgable commentary throughout and was polite and friendly. We appreciated that he also paid the parking fees as we had no Turkish Lira and that we were able to reimburse him in Euro.

Dennis was excellent. Met us as arranged at cruise ship port. Was very knowledgeable of everything Turkey including customs, lifestyle and reality. Was able to answer complicated and simple questions with equal ease and courtesy. Knowledge of Ephesus is impressive including Christian customs and life of the times. Command of English outstanding. Completely understandable. Shopping stops may NOT be bargain oriented. Would happily choose Dennis again to guide us as we travel.

Denizhan taught our families well, not just pointing out the obvious, but answering questions and providing details that made the tour both educational and fun.

The tour went exactly as planned and scheduled. Denizhan greeted me at the Airport and we travelled to the old city of Istanbul. Denizhan is knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Istanbul and Turkey. His friendly attitude made the tour even more enjoyable for me. Deniz arrived on time and tailored a tour of Ephesus that was tailored for us. He imparted, in totally fluent English, a tremendous amount of interesting information about the discovery and restoration of the ancient city and the life that people led there. He took us to other temples and mosques as well as schools dedicated to transmitting the ancient crafts of pottery and rug making. If we ever get back to Turkey we would hire this guide again to see more of the country.

Denizhan led us through a wonderful tour of Ephesus, a local mosque, and a local mountain town (Serinche). He is very knowledgeable, and his style kept our group of 10 (spanning in age from 11 to 60+ years old) entertained and informed throughout. Following the tour, each of us felt like we got an authentic glimpse of Turkey, and made the most of our time there.

The best tour guide I have ever had. He was fluent in colloquial English. It was like spending a day with 3 of the best faculty at any US University all wrapped into one very nice person - a Religious studies, historian and Latin/Greek scholar. The tour was informative, and he encouraged all types of questions. He took us to a local village to experience "real" life there and he arranged a delicious dinner with a family who opened for us alone. A great experience. And it was reasonably priced.

Denizhan was waiting at the bottom of the gang plank as we disembarked. The transport vehicle was a short walk away and he began giving us information about Kusadasi as we walked. After a very comfortable ride to Ephesus we began the tour which was extremely informative. We had an elderly person in our party and Denizan made sure he could cope with the terrain. Denizen is a very personable and knowledgeable young man.

The best tour guide I have ever had. He was fluent in colloquial English. It was like spending a day with 3 of the best faculty at any US University all wrapped into one very nice person - a Religious studies, historian and Latin/Greek scholar. The tour was informative, and he encouraged all types of questions. He took us to a local village to experience "real" life there and he arranged a delicious dinner with a family who opened for us alone. A great experience. And it was reasonably priced.

Denizhan was waiting at the bottom of the gang plank as we disembarked. The transport vehicle was a short walk away and he began giving us information about Kusadasi as we walked. After a very comfortable ride to Ephesus we began the tour which was extremely informative. We had an elderly person in our party and Denizan made sure he could cope with the terrain. Denizen is a very personable and knowledgeable young man.
