The most economical way to travel to Ephesus from Pamukkale is by train. The train takes approximately 3 hours 15 minutes. Pheidias, Kresilas, Phradmon, Polycleitus, who were the important sculptors of the period, took part in the construction of the temple. The temple is filled with bronze and marble statues. The Temple of Artemis is one of the seven wonders of the world. It also has the distinction of being the first temple built in marble in the world. However, only a few marbles remain from the temple today.

Distance from Kusadasi Port to Ephesus
The distance between Kusadasi Port to Ephesus Ancient city is 20 kilometers. It takes approximately 25 minutes by car to go to the Ancient City of Ephesus. There is no direct prublic transport to go to Ephesus from Kusadasi Port.
