Kusadasi Port in 1956 and today

Kusadasi town has been attracting cruise ships since 1950s.

 Due to the prximity to the ancient city of Ephesus. A lot of cruise ships prefer to call to the Port of Kusadasi. Cruise ships has a major impact in the growth of Kusadasi. In 1950s Kusadasi was a small, agricultural town having couple of thousand inhabitants. Today we are talking almost 1000 cruise ship calls with thousands of tourists.
